Artur Wagner is a self-taught artist.

He works in oil on canvas as well as with ink, charcoal and Copic markers on paper. At the centre of his work are detailed, painterly wildlife portraits:

Lynxes, owls, deer, snow leopards and other animals.

Rendered with strong texture and quiet intensity.

Alongside these, he creates surreal and darker figurative pieces that explore inner states and more provocative imagery.
